My homemade closet so far

By Jill Dap - June 24, 2017

Hello loves! 🌸

If you have read my blog before, you know that I love sewing, and I have made a few things for myself so far, thus I thought about dedicating a whole post for it today, and share my happiness and progress with all of you!

1. A bag

This is the first thing I made with my new sewing machine, that I got for my birthday. Find this post here

 2. Floral Skirt

Floral Midi Skirt Outfit

There was a time when I was obsessed with these types of skirts and I used to sew them all the time! Mainly because they're one of the easiest things to sew. ha ha. But when I started sewing again in March, I decided to make this skirt again, because it's something very timeless about a cringed waist midi skirt! And when I found this fabric I told myself it's a must for Spring/Summer! Find a post here

3. Dress

I'm so proud of myself for this one! The fabric is just stunning, I mean this bright pink, and royal blue print! I sewed this for a celebration in my senior year of high school, and I still love it now! Find a post here

4. Paper Bag Waist Camo Pants

These pants were also very easy to sew, and I'm so happy the way they turned out! And I mean, camo print this season (or any season) is just one from the 🔝. Find a post here

5. Maxi Cardigan

Maxi Cardigan with lace detailing

I'm in love with this cardigan! As I mentioned in the original post (here), it may have turned out a bit too long, but it's still awesome! And was quite easy, just time consuming, especially with that black lace detailing!

6. Off-the-shoulder Dress

Could you believe this was a duvet cover? ha ha, I just really liked the print, and being a sheet, it didn't do its justice, so I turned it into a dress! And a trendy one! Find the post here

7. Blouse

Flannel Blouse

This photo doesn't really show the full blouse, but it has a huge loose turtle neck! I might do a full outfit post, but there's a post on my blog including this photo (here).

I have a few clothes I made for my husband and more pieces for me, but don't have outfits with them yet, thus keep an eye on my blog for more homemade pieces!

Also, let me know if you'd like to see maybe youtube tutorials for sewing!

Thanks for reading, xx

Jill
